Nebraska & South Dakota Styled Wedding Shoot

This Nebraska Sandhills wedding turned out to be the cutest little Fall gathering I've been to in awhile! I mean, you can't go wrong with sunflowers and little pumpkin cake toppers (totes adorbs, right?!). And Allison's dress from Ellynne Bridal...I was kinda obsessed with it. Timeless, gorgeous, perfect for her :-)

Tiffany & Tom (Valentine, Nebraska Destination Wedding Photographer)
When my sister-in-law, Tiffany, got engaged to her English boyfriend, you can bet I dreamed non-stop about their wedding pictures. When would I ever have this opportunity literally right down the road from my house?!?! The thing is, this wedding day far surpassed anything my imagination could've dreamed of. It was perfect. I mean it. I felt like I was transported to England, ha! I had to double check a few times with all the English accents echoing around me ;-)
The bride and her London housemates, as well as numerous friends and family, gathered together the week of the wedding to make this DIY event happen. I'd say they pulled it off.
An amazing artist and fellow photographer, Debs (Deborah Grace Photography), allowed me to photograph this day with her. Debs has been Tiffany's housemate the last 3 years and I'm honored to know of her. If you're ever in England and in need of photography, I highly recommend her.
I definitely went overboard in posting so many pictures, I apologize, but not really ;-)

Sheena & Brent (Smith Falls State Park, Nebraska Wedding)
When this couple said they were getting married at Smith Falls, I could not have been happier!! It's one of the prettiest places in Nebraska in my humble opinion ;-) And to top it off, we had the best Spring day- not too hot and enough of a breeze to keep the bugs away. Check it out...
Robin & Zach Engaged (Cedar Rapids,Nebraska Wedding & Engagement Photographer)
You might remember these two from the surprise proposal I photographed back in October (view their movie here). They chose October 14, 2017 as their wedding date and I'm so darn excited! These two drove over 4 hours to little ol' Merriman for their engagement session and also brought their dogs AND race car! Yes, I said race car. My "job" is never boring I tell ya ;-)
I was so distracted by the cuteness overload from these two that I realized we had less than 10 minutes to unload the race car from the trailer and do an outfit change for sunset pictures. Panic mode set in (I was genuinely worried we were going to miss the sun and 4 hours of hauling a race car across Nebraska was going to be all in vain!). Oh, what little faith I had. My couples are like no others. They rallied and seriously, got the most AMAZING photographs right at sunset. My dreams came true. Take a look...
(And yes, there is a Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. Crazy.)

These two had the right idea. Find a church in the middle of nowhere and get married there! I loved every laid-back minute of this day; just their immediate family, a glorious Sandhills day, a church and a town where the Bride's family were born and raised, and a sunset that represents this couple in every way...beautiful. I love these Sandhills and the people in it! Here's a sneak peak of their day...

Every wedding I do, I always say "this one is my favorite." But no seriously, this one really is my favorite! Probably because it's so representative of our beautiful Nebraska Sandhills. There's no place like this. I'm so happy for this couple and REALLY hope they stay in the area...we can always use more people ;-) Enjoy your sneak peak!

Yay, a blog post! I'm so excited to update the blog with this wedding straight out of my dreams! Seriously, I loved everything about this day, this couple, their family, EVERYTHING! They chose to have a small, intimate gathering at the Prairie Club Golf Course south of Valentine, Nebraska. There was no fuss with a large wedding party, just their immediate family and themselves; so representative of their personalities. Enjoy!
Thank you SO much to this couple and their family. I have never met such sincere and kind people! Blessings to your marriage.

I was honored (and completely shocked) when Nebraska Wedding Day Magazine asked me to shoot a fashion spread for their 2014 Spring Issue. I am obsessed with this wedding! I couldn't take enough pictures of the bride in her GORGEOUS gown and then when you put the bride and groom together...I was swooning to say the least ;-)
I just couldn't narrow down this preview so if I lost ya half-way through, I'm sorry!
See what I mean???? Stunning!
And the groom was just as handsome...
This couple decided to have a "First Look" before the ceremony and it was so cute!
And they danced the evening away!

Tileena + Aric (Nebraska Wedding + Destination Photographer)
It was wonderful to be back home in Idaho for a bit, and the cherry on top was photographing this gorgeous, over-the-top wedding! You could tell that every little detail of this wedding was carefully thought out and planned. I love my DIY brides!
I met up with the bride (and her adorable daughter) for some getting ready shots...
Tileena's bouquet....no words....
The bride and groom...also no words :-)
You can't tell, but the wind was blowing at least 30 mph. No joke. But they didn't care! Love them!
The girls were having fun...
...and so were the guys.
The details of this wedding were so personal and unique. You could tell the bride and her family put many hours into making everything.
